Diabetes Care
Diabetes affects more than 25 million Americans and is a major cause of heart attack and stroke. Navarro Regional Hospital is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with diabetes through care and education. Our self-management program provides individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to manage the disease and avoid complications.
We are here to help patients manage meal planning, monitor blood sugars and to educate them about preventing long-term complications. We are also able to assist with medication education and insulin instruction. A certified diabetes educator on staff has the knowledge to help you live healthier with diabetes.
Diabetes classes are offered at varying times and locations to meet the needs of the individual. For more information, contact the education department at: (903) 654-4556.
