Navarro Regional Hospital's 4-Star CMS Rating: What It Means for Our Community
8/28/2024
As the CEO of Navarro Regional Hospital, I am honored to share the exciting news that our hospital has earned a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This recognition is a significant achievement for our entire team and speaks to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional healthcare to the people of Corsicana and surrounding areas.
Measuring and tracking quality in healthcare means holding patient safety in the highest regard. In 2016, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) began releasing hospital star ratings. The rating scale of 1 to 5 is to help patients easily understand the quality of care at hospitals. These include patient outcomes, safety, the quality of care provided, and patient experiences. A 4-star rating reflects the high standards of care our team strives to maintain every day.
This achievement is the result of our physicians, nurses, and staff working together to ensure that our patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care. We are continually focused on improving outcomes, reducing hospital-acquired infections, and enhancing patient satisfaction.
We understand that healthcare decisions are deeply personal, and this recognition should provide our community with confidence in the care they receive at Navarro Regional Hospital. While we are proud of this accomplishment, we remain committed to further improving and enhancing the services we offer.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our incredible team at Navarro Regional Hospital, whose hard work and dedication made this recognition possible. I also want to express my gratitude to our patients and the community for trusting us with their care. We look forward to continuing to serve you with the highest standards of healthcare.
Sincerely,
John Manolakis
CEO, Navarro Regional Hospital
